Heartbeat

Today we get to see the heartbeat!!! We went back to do the ultrasound and the nurse said that Dr. Harris had been called out to a delivery so I wouldn't get to see her today. That was fine as long as we got to see the baby! And we did! The nurse called it a bean! LOL It was so amazing to see this little tiny fluttering spot where the baby's heartbeat was. Wow there's a baby in there!!!! The nurse was able to do some measurements and give an approximate due date of April 14. The baby's heartbeat was 130 beats a minute. This time we actually got a little print out picture! YEAH! After all the excitement I had to go back to work. :( Tonight was Meet the Teacher and I couldn't stand it I had to let me classroom parents and students in on the news! Plus if their kid comes home saying Mrs. Turner was mean today maybe they would be a little more understanding! LOL! Meet the Teacher went well. I am excited about my class. After that we went to China Buffet for Jacob's going off to college meal. Of course I had to show off the sonogram picture! :)
