Finally A Little Update...

Well things are going wonderful!!!! We have decided on a name Cade Langham Turner. Langham is after Daniel's granddad. Really not a lot of change other than my belly! I am so sick of people saying " When are you due?" and when I tell them April their eyes get huge and the response is always "Are you having twins?" NO there is only ONE sweet precious BIG boy!!! Our last doctor's appointment was Dec. 11th and the doctor informed us that he was already 1lb. 7oz.!! Oh my! Most babies at 22 weeks are about 12oz. So the doctor said we may end up discussing C-Section, but I sure hope not! At that visit his heart rate was 148 bpm. We also got a couple of 3-D songram pictures and it was amazing how much he had filled out since the 3-D pictures in November. I'll have to post those pictures later.

It is so cool to think that next year at this time we will have a little one!!! Our excitement is growing everyday! Cade has already gotten a ton of clothes! We had our Christmas with my grandparents and my in-laws this weekend. I love hanging out at the Turner's with the whole family, so unstressful! The Turner's are going to Hawaii for Christmas this year so we will be spending Christmas day with my family. We are looking forward to that as well! My lil sis is just so much fun to be with! Oh and at the Turner's Christmas, Brooke (my niece) and the family gave us our wedding album. Finally after 2 years!! I have to pick at Brooke about it since she was the photographer and all! Also most of you probably know I love my Pandora bracelot but it was full of beads (things that represented our 1st yr. of marriage), so I really needed to start a new one. With that said you know how thoughtful my husband is (seriously)... he started me a new Pandora bracelot that has Cade's name on it. YEAH! Sorry I'm kind of just rambling on....

Back to babies... can I just please tell you how excited I am that so many of my friends are pregnant too! My best friend since high school Kristen McGee Ray is due in May and it's a BOY!! It is so much fun to have someone to call and talk, laugh, and complain to about all this weird stuff going on to our bodies! I just wished Scott and her lived in Tyler!!! Then I have my 2 REALLY close friends that live here in Tyler, Lindsay and Brandi. Brandi and I taught together at Bell and became very close. She has a 3yr old little boy Hayden who is a cutie! She is due in June. Lindsay and John are our close friends that we do everything with! Cade will call her Aunt KeKe like her nephew does! We can't wait to find out what they are having. My bet is on a girl! Do I see an arranged wedding in the future??? We also have our friends Matt & Nicole who are expecting a girl in May! Man that is a lot of baby showers!!!

I'm SO glad to be out of school for Christmas break!! Now we can start working on the baby room! Our furniture is in but the room isn't quite ready yet so that is our plan for the break. (This is our furniture www.creationsbaby.com/pdfs/6055.pdf.) Picking out baby bedding has been by far the hardest thing!!!! I really like the stuff at www.polkatotdesigns.com but it is a little pricey!! Ok, ok to all those who have been bugging me about an update there you go... I think that's all I've got!! Maybe next time I won't wait so long to update!

PS I feel your pain on the "are you having twins?" question. You & I are built the same. We're both short & short-torso'd. There is no where for a baby to go but OUT. Tall lanky women with a long torso can have the same sized baby & "hide" it for longer, but us short gals don't have a chance. I always looked like I had a basketball under my shirt by the time I was 24-ish weeks.
