Baby Shower Already, NO Not Really

Ok so mom and sister were so excited they were dying to tell everyone! So mom called an "emergency group meeting" of her friends. LOL! They have these from time to time to share news whether it be good, bad, or ugly. She had ordered cupcakes with pink and blue baby rings on them and got bottles of sparkling grape juice. Morgan had wrote the most awesome poem ever to share too. So tonight we all met at mom's and she read the scripture Romans 12:15 and 1 Corinthians 12:26. Then Morgan read her peom. Everyone was smiling but had unsure looks on their faces. I acted like I had no idea what was going on. Mom asked them so what do you think this is all about? They all thought mom was pregnant!!! LOL! She told them heavens no that Wendie was! They all screamed and hugged me full of excitement! Then we had cupcakes and sparkling grape juice! They each went around and made a toast! All of this excitement made me ready for bed!

Pinks and blues,
Little socks and tiny shoes,
Little blocks for building towers,
Cute clothes and a teddy bear,
All the items needed for its care.
The greatest mystery in all of time,
Bundled up in my little rhyme.
