Hmmm. . .How Far Along

Well the last time I had visited with my doctor she had told me to relax and not worry about taking ovulation tests or any of that. . .so with that said I didn't keep up with anything! Easy enough I thought! Not really because this morning I called the doctor's office to let them know I had a positive pregnancy test (ok 4 positive pregnancy tests) and I had a hard time answering their questions about dates. Anyways by the time I got off the phone with the nurse I had an appointment at 9:30, which was only 1 hour away. Now to go tell my new principal because you see it was our first day back to work, that I needed to go to a doctor's appointment. Wow I was nervous about nothing, he was cool with it! So Daniel and I headed off to the dr. Once we were there and got to go back to the ultrasound room the nurse again asked me some questions dealing with dates and I answered the best I could! LOL Then came the cool part . . . she did an ultrasound! Daniel and I got to see the egg sack and she confirmed that I was for sure pregnant. By the measurement of the sack I was 4 weeks and 5 days along. Still too early to really see anything so they wanted me to come back the next week. Oh well we left smiling ear to ear just as if we had seen the baby! After that we decide not to wait any longer and to go ahead and tell everyone! It was just too hard to keep a secret!
